Does anyone have recommendations for a bass guide for OH Ivie. Wanted to go out there this Spring with a friend and spend a few days fishing. Also if you have lodging recommendations would appreciate those as well. Thanks

I see you live in Colleyville. I built a home there in 2005 and lived there 10 years. Great place!

Depends on what you are looking for. If looking for just a giant, Jerad Pool another good choice. He only hunts down Giants in spring. I think he had 10-12 over 10lbs last year from LBJ, Ivie, Alan Henry

I fished with him 3 days after he caught her.

State record coming soon? Surely I’m not the only one thinking it. Nope, lots of 12-15lbers just like when Alan Henry, Amistad, Falcon were peaking. Not saying you won't get a genetic freak that eats a 1.5lb crappie and gets caught but I just don't see it happening. The fish getting caught at Ivie are maxed out on weight. I mean they are absolute footballs. Need a 27-28" looking like that to have a shot.

Ive is going to be crowded for a while now... No kidding. It’s ON FIRE. I saw some tournament results this weekend that said a little different. Def some big ones getting caught but I heard the fishing is brutal.
