 Finally landed first fish of 2022 and it is a record lol

Well, I am still concentrating on fly fishing and have already been skunked 3 days in 2022, but I finally got a fish to the bank, and it was a good one.  The black buffalo was 31.25 inches long and weighed 22.9 pounds. It was caught on my carp slayer minnow fly and it fought like a bulldog. It should result in several records. January and February are the hardest months to catch carp and buffalo on a fly, so I am very thankful for this catch.
