When they cut in the boat lanes, were trees completely removed and completely cut down or was height just cut down? With the lake 6-6.5 feet low does it bring anything into play in the boat lanes? Thanks

Yes they cleared and yes there are obstacles that come into play...
The difference is how wide they cleared. Any lanes added after the lake was open was not cleared and the guide runs, road beds, etc are at your own risk.

do not trust the bouys that mark the lanes, last time I went into mustang the first 2 in were way off from lances lane on my graph.
I trust lances boatlanes on the graph and run those not the bouys.

I trust lances boatlanes on the graph and run those not the bouys. Be careful running Lance's lane going into Little Caney. When the lake reached 7.5 low a few years back, there were several spots you could not run. I trust his lanes also, but I'm sure he didn't lay those out when the lake was this low.

I trust lances boatlanes on the graph and run those not the bouys. Mustang and little mustang both had some stumps that were in play in the marked lane at 2-3ft low. I can't imagine now. The markers are off in lots of places around the lake.

On Wednesday , January 5 , I scouted guide trails into Little Caney & Dale Creek . The first part of Little Caney guide trail off the main lake is clear of stumps , but after about 1/4 of the way into the creek there is a stretch where many stumps are 3 to 4 feet off the exact center of the guide trail . I definitely would recommend idle only in this area . If you follow the buoys into Dale Creek and the guide trail starts , the water is only 1.5 feet deep . I almost beached my boat . I would recommend taking the southern guide trail past Leafy Creek into the back of Dale Creek . There are also many stumps very close to many buoys on the lake now . Quite a few buoys are not accurate anymore . They have somehow moved from their correct position . I would recommend following the guide trails exactly and not believing the buoys if you have a choice .

Sounds like a dangerous butt puckering event going to Fork right now....but it being this low has to be condensing the fish.
