In order from 1 being the most common sunfish to 6 being the least common sunfish you have caught in 2021?
Mine are as followed.
#1. Bluegill #2. Redear #3. Longear #4. Redbreast #5. Green #6. Warmouth

David...Coppernose are my personal favorite sunfish... You get these only on FCL or locally as well? Calaveras Lake and Braunig Lake have good populations of Copper nose Bluegill.

Calaveras Lake and Braunig Lake have good populations of Copper nose Bluegill. Really? I was under the impressions that fishing at these two lakes generally sucks outside of reds and tilapia.

I have fished both lakes a lot over the years. I have done good most of the time but there have been times that the Bluegill were just very hard to find! Only fished Calaveras once this past year and Braunig three times. Did OK on Calaveras and did OK one of the three times on Braunig. The last two times on Braunig were not good. October has been the best time for me fishing these lakes.

FCL has a strong population of Coppernose...I have only fished Calaveras one time for sunfish around 3 years ago & did terrible...
