Completely agree. Mine is a beast. Runs REALLY strong. Comfortable. Looks good. Lots of options. Lots of room. Paint is holding up really well. Heck, it’s a 2015, paid off, and still looks like a new truck.

….but that 10.5 mpg average is a beat down. I will say fuel mileage wasn’t a concern when I bought it, but it could and SHOULD be better. The only truck I’ve ever owned that was worse was my 93 Lightning and it had bigger injectors, and a aftermarket cam and head work. Hell, my old 76 F100 was better on fuel than my Tundra.

This is my third Tundra and I am thinking that I like it better than the other two. I looked at all the others (chevy, ford, dodge) and the Tundra was what I got. My wife really loves it and you know what they say, a happy wife makes for a happy life. I have only towed with it one time and ie seems like it was as good or better than the 2017 that I had. I drove it from my home in Gatesville to Lake Fork which is 183 miles and got 18 MPG which is a lot better than what I got with my old one, however, this truck isn't a 4 wheel drive. I hope it gets better after I get more mileage on it.
