Coming east bound on I-30 over Ray Hubbard.... What are the doing there? Been over it several times lately but always forget to ask what’s going on.

DALLAS COUNTY (Oct. 26, 2021) – Starting Monday, Nov. 1, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will close lanes on the eastbound I-30 Lake Ray Hubbard bridge from Bass Pro Drive to Dalrock Road. The closures, which are expected to continue for six weeks, will provide room for crews to start expanding the I-30 bridge and eventually connect to a new frontage road bridge under construction. Drivers can expect daily one-lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and nightly two-lane closures as needed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. This work is part of the $142 million project to build new frontage road bridges across the lake from Bass Pro to Dalrock, and rebuild the Dalrock interchange. Future projects will widen I-30 and add continuous frontage roads throughout Rockwall County. These I-30 projects are part of TxDOT’s Texas Clear Lanes effort to relieve congestion in major metropolitan areas.

That’s great, I will drive through there with the wife, roll down the window and power up DFW

If we could just harness the wind power of your mouth talking...EVERY DAMN SECOND of every day...we could solve global power production. Do you even breathe???

If I marry a newer, younger and more pleasant woman, does that make my current wedding License void?
