Last trip to FCL for the year...Started out the year with Doc & ended the year with the Dude reelin um in. We fished today from 8am to 5pm. The lake was crowded/packed today so we had to move around a lot & try some new spots. Ended the day with 43 fish total...2 Tilapia, 10 Sunfish & 31 bass. No real big ones today but a lot of hard fighting 2 pounders. Water temp was 68-72 degrees and down around 6 inches. Caught the Tilapia & Sunfish on Gulp alive 1" minnows & the bass mostly on Ned Rigs & 7.5 "Culprit worms Texas rigged. Fish caught at all depths today & best bite came around 4-5 pm. It was GREAT to get back out on the water and chase some bass with Steve after being out of pocket for various reasons for almost 2 months. Like he said it was crazy busy on the lake. I counted 15 boats in just one area we were fishing. With the lake getting hammered like this daily for at least a week it was no surprise that the bite was very tentative throughout the day. Our last day on Fayette for the year was a bit of a whimper compared to the incredible year overall. Looking forward to 2022 !!
