When I select stow from my foot control or remote, the motor rises to the top position and stops. I can put a little pressure on the motor, turning it left or right and the motor will push back like it is centering to stow. Also, at this point, the remote states it is being stowed. I can raise the motor up and down vertically and press stow again and it will come up to the top vertically, yet still will not fold over. In my opinion, something is not telling the screw motor that the shaft is all the way up and it is safe to fold over. I have tried to reset set by turning the unit off and on and pressing the power button three times. It will go through the cycle but still will not fold the motor over to the horizonal position. I'm in the FTW area and am open to suggestions on how to fix this issue myself or a local repair shop.

These TMs are very sensitive to obstructions. Check real well for anything that is maybe blocking the process. I use Brian at Sartin Marine here at Lake Fork He knows his business.

Have you tried to pair it with the remote to see if that is a fix? That has cured some glitches for me.

Crickets! Should share the solution.
I have hit bottom with mine a couple time and got it out of wack.
Solution for me was to disconnect the belt and motor, put it in stow manually, then disconnect batteries in remote.
I had the bely jump out also and had to pull the cover off and put it back in time also. These are great until something like this happens out on the water.
I have learned to raise mine way up when I get shallow.

I had the same thing happen to me. Hit a stump really hard. I could give it a push to help it deploy and pull to stow. I dealt with it for about a year, deploy when get to lake then just trim it up to move place to place. I went by a repair shop at Lake Fork and they said it was the trim module. I bought one and installed it myself with the help of YouTube but unfortunately they left out a step and actually added a step that messed it up. Went back to the shop and they took it apart and reassembled and set it up while I waited. I think the module was around $300 and they charged me something like $50 or less to fix it. Still acts up occasionally and has to be shut down and restarted but overall it works. I no longer trust it so will never drop the boat in the water when solo and when I have the money going to change over to an Ultrex or one of the others when they work they are great but they are so tempermental

theres a sensor that tells the TM when its all the way up stowed, I had a similar problem and it was that sensor.
