The markets are doing well. The rich are getting richer and everybody else is paying for it. That's how you build back better

Do you have a retirement account or perhaps a brokerage account? Anyone can invest - it takes a few clicks and 15 minutes to get all setup

Anyone that thinks this current administration or idiotic current market stats is beyond stupid!! Sorry it it’s true! Nothing is good about economy or markets and these over inflated numbers are totally stupid. This administration and situation is setting country up for one seriously bad setback! To make things look good when they aren’t really is setting everyone up for another big depression bc idiots think things are fine when we are really grasping at straws trying to keep the ball rolling. It will get ugly sooner rather than later.

I remember reading that he’s in his 80’s. Obviously more cognitive than his hero president, just as goofy thinking as his hero though.

I guess he sees his social security raise as winning. roflmao

Earnings must be good for some, most that I know, aren’t keeping up with inflation though. A $100k year job used to be a nice living, not it’s become middle class. Nothing is better in reality.

Fast food places paying $18 an hour and they still can’t afford housing around here due to the influx of Californians fleeing the mess their state has become. Some places are good and some are bad, it’s always the same. I’m not sure you really feel the inflation since you get the senior citizen discount on everything.

When houses cost $350k for a cookie cutter home, trucks are $50k for the work package and fuel is $3.00 a gallon. Everything else better be up.

Want to bet that the next set of elections are a landslide with the democrats being wiped out? Surely you’ve seen Bidens approval ratings, who thinks things are so good?

I know you’ll approve of this site, it’s a Libby place.

He had to catch the 4 o’clock blue plate special and then go to bed at his normal 6:30pm bedtime. He’ll be back this morning telling us how great “Let’s go Brandon” is doing. I mean look how great the country is doing, the number of people on welfare is zero now. Everyone is rolling in money. rolleyes

Nope, fixed dinner myself. In fact made some pintos, cornbread and had some collard greens a friend brought us.

Retired, no debt and investments are outpacing inflation. Inflation is usually because demand is outpacing supply and typically demand is a function of how well people are doing. I am under no illusion that the markets will continue to get better during the next four years as a correction is definitely due. I am certainly not wealthy, but have lived frugally, had fun, but disciplined about saving and investing

And yes, I think Trump was horrible for the economy as he screwed up our relationship with trading partners. Some corrections needed to be made but the relationships not destroyed. Trump was much more about making the rich, richer pretending to believe it would trickle down. Failed miserably. He refused to deal with the Covid in a responsible way and that had a very negative effect on the economy. Trump was and is irrational and all about Trump. His followers are often much the same.

I fully expect the Dems to lose their majority in both the House and Senate which means Biden will have to use his veto power. Hopefully we can keep our Democratic Republic together but it is not certain.

I am outta here. I will be watching the markets hit new highs and it looks like yesterday's profits were more than a full years cost of fuel. I fully expect to be attacked personally which is ok as I consider the source.

Have a good rest of the year.

The exit plan from high inflation is usually and ugly and painful thing. It will hurt people. I believe I posted a while back that everyone better figure out how to make more money cause 100k a year is peanuts now. I'm waiting on the WAWI was right posts that should be coming as usual. The great thing about capitalism is it makes people a slave to their wants and dreams, the not so great thing about rampant inflation is that it makes people a slave to their necessities.

I think we have found the root cause of your obvious state of delusion.

Is America a republic country?

While often categorized as a democracy, the United States is more accurately defined as a constitutional federal republic.

What countries have a democratic republic government?

The most democratic nations in the world are:Norway (9.87)Iceland (9.58)Sweden (9.39)New Zealand (9.26)Finland (9.25)Ireland (9.24)Canada (9.22)Denmark (9.22)
