I don't know if it is consistently a good lake but we stopped by there last March on our way to Amistad. We fished for about 3 hours "up the river" and had right at 20 pounds including a 7.5 pounder. I haven't been through there since then so I can't say if we could duplicate it again.......but it was a fun lake back in March!
