I'm getting ready to start loading my tackle into my new to me boat and I use the Plano 3620 tackle trays. My rig's tackle storage is just basically smooth fiberglass boxes with nothing to help hold the tackle trays upright and organized. Are there tubs or organizers that I can buy to put in these compartments to keep them from sliding everywhere?

Stack enough of them vertically and they won't slide around. Upsize to the 3700 boxes. If you still think they're moving too much you don't have enough tackle.

You can take a hint from the Kayak anglers and use a milk crate if it will fit in the compartment.

That was my first thought but I plan to fish some Pro/Am events this year as an amateur and will be removing and adding tackle all the time. It would just be easier to deal with if I could have something to hold the 3620's in place. I have them labeled as well and if they are turned where I can read the labels on all of them it would make it much easier to figure out what I want to take with me on the amateur runs.

I use a few waterproof clear plastic boxes to help divide up my storage areas. Ezy Storage Waterproof makes a variety of sizes, but there are many other companies that make good waterproof storage boxes.

If they're fairly "standard" storage boxes then I would go with this advice mentioned above. If they are giant compartments then you could get some spring-loaded drawer organizers that will help hold them in place.

I've been using plastic file boxes for years and they work well, easily hold 3700 size boxes

I forget exactly how many they hold but I know milk crates are perfectly sized for 3700s. They are easy to carry and move also

I just went out and loaded the two front center compartments and nearly filled the rear one up. I definitely need more tackle boxes. Most of the ones I have are overstuffed and I have quite a bit of tackle I've bought in the past couple of years that has no place to live. I think I'm going tackle box shopping tomorrow. I need about a dozen or so to finish filling both compartments.

LOL this is what I do. Put enough in there so they can't fall over.

The plastic file boxes work great in my center console boat.

funny, I actually drill holes in mine to let the trapped moisture out, keeps all the hooks from rusting - when you sharpen the hooks and remove the protective coating they will rust faster... but I guess if most of your baits are part of a "collection", that mostly go for a boat ride and rarely get used, then seal them up good...LOL... we're creatures of habit in that we have our go-to baits tied on, we really only need a spare of that bait in the boat, add in some color variations for water color, we usually end up using one maybe two rods once we figure out the pattern...you know how the day is going by how many rods are on the deck, love the single rod days !...getting off topic, sorry OP... get a roll of this, then cut to size your compartments, it'll keep things from sliding around, and make it quieter when your fiddling around in the boxes...

Go to Office Depot and buy office file folder holders. I get plastic and they cost a few bucks, the 2 inch wide opening will hold a 3700 box

That's me for sure probably 70% of what a haul around has never seen the water and some I've never even opened the packages. I was real big into finesse fishing in my earlier days and about 90% of the time I was standing on the deck of my rig with a 7 foot medium light spinning rod with a Quantum spinning reel. I throw topwater some, lipless crankbaits, medium diver cranks, and extreme deep diving cranks, and now jigs. I carry enough gear to cover pretty much any technique.

I switched boats last spring, I did some soul searching about what I actually use and have gradually chunked about half my tackle in the trash...... I fish with about 6 things and a couple colors. I use a mix of plano waterproof boxes mostly. The boxes on my cat are open and I'm sure they bounce around but I dont care
