Merry Christmas y'all. We took a little break from eating and soaked some baits for a couple hours. Right in the middle of the day. Set lines about 11:00 and pulled up about 12:30. Bait was some cut some small threads. Didn't even get all six rods out and had 2 go down. Nothing huge but good box fish, 5 to 6 pounds. Ended up with about a half dozen of 'em plus the surprise of the day Sam boated this 8 pound channel. Haven't seen one of these in some time.

Everything was very shallow. When I say shallow, I mean less than 2 feet of water. I think we are gonna try again tomorrow to keep Wyatt busy while we wait for his momma to get off work.

Special appreciation for my son and my daughter who are both working this weekend. They both work for the Sheriff's Department. When it's your day, it's your day. There are no shut downs...

Nice work Tim, on a "hot" windy winter day... this weather is something else.

God bless your family and all of our first responders and military. Freedom and safety is not free.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Man, that's a nice channel Tim, my biggest has been a little over 5 lbs. An 8 pounder is getting on up there for Texas waters.

Looks like a good day, Tim!

I drove out to my boat storage first thing yesterday morning and passed a truck overturned in a ditch in the dark, with a whole bunch of emergency vehicles in attendance. The emergency responders, fire and Sheriff folks all have my respect and gratitude. Sometimes its a thankless task though. Please thank them from me my friend.
