The fishing has been good. My mom has been wanting to catch some crappie so that's what we did yesterday.
My mom caught a couple on jigs and she caught the rest of her fish on minnows. I caught all my fish on several
different colored 1/8oz jigs, hand tied jigs and plastics both worked well. We were fishing standing timber,
stumps, laydowns and brush piles in 20-35 FOW. We ended up with 50 fish and it was a great day on the water.
I have days open in December and January if anyone wants to catch some crappie. Merry Christmas!!!

The fishing has been good. I had Dennis and his wife Jackie with me Wednesday and Thursday. They caught a nice mess of fish both days.
Wednesday it was a little foggy and we got rained on a few times. We only saw a couple boats Wednesday but Thursday they were everywhere.
Thursday it was so foggy we had to idle to the first spot. It was pretty much slick calm both days. They caught them all on 1/8 oz jigs. Several
different colored hand tied jigs and plastics both worked well. Most of the time we were tipping the jigs with minnows. We were fishing standing
timber, stumps, laydowns, and ​brush piles in 18-31 FOW. I have days open in January and February if anyone wants to go catch some crappie.
