Family is having get together at bob sandlin. My dad and me are at welsh right now fishing. Welsh is not running at moment, water temp is 56-59. Have fished welsh several times but not at this cool of temp. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Welsh is always tough when they are not running the plant. Only suggestion is fish main lake points and see if you can find the deeper grass.

Thanks to all that replied. Fished from 2-25 foot, swim baits, c-rig, Texas rig, crankbait, jerkbaits, and spinnerbaits. Combined we have had 5 bites. All bites were between 4-7 foot. Never got a bite c rigging points

Welsh fish love hot water(easy) and hate cold water(difficult). No sarcasm meant. It really is that simple. Sandlin!

Go to the discharge and throw over the fence

Is there a way to know if they are running the power plant on welsh other than driving out there?
