Mom and Dad started First grade together (Neighter one spoke a word of English). Dad went off to Creighton University in Omaha. Mom when to nursing school in Sioux City. WWII started. Dad became a fighter pilot and Mom an Army nurse. They were both stationed at Luke airbase, where they married just prior to Dad being sent to Townsville, Australia. WIA, Dad was medevated back to the States, Lanely AB, where I entered this world.

Rumor has it I was born in Europan Michoacán, Mexico to a German woman and a Sioux man. I don’t know who the person was that they knew to get my birth certificate to say Grand Prairie, Tx. Suspiciously, my birthdate and my sisters birthdate are exactly, to the minute, 2 years apart. June 2, 12:00pm 1968.
