Well got up at 5:30 and went to the blue today I must be the master of blowing out shoes walked all the way to the Ketchn release area the entire sole fell off of one boot and the soul came up on the front of the other! I was not going back to the truck for my other shoes I would have gone barefoot before that. The one that look like a moccasin I gave it credit because it made it all day and all the way down the trail and back to the truck. My buddy and I almost got completely blown off of the waterfalls several times today. There was only one other brave soul out there he was fly fishing but targeting smallmouth had a couple finally switched to trout caught one that was about 19 inches nice fish. For being out in the wind like it was today I was shocked I didn’t know him lol! Also everybody has hit their head in the back when you’re going forward with your cast but I saw twice getting hit in the chest with the forecast because it went forward and straight back and hit you no amount of momentum was stopping the gust today. I hate to tell people but fish tend to love the wind adds oxygen in the water and stirs up bait. My buddy wanted to keep some I told him let’s not even do it till we get back to the parking lot we stopped for 10 minutes on the way out and caught a quick two man limit. Probably 40 fish brought to hand for me today broke off two good ones up top but it happens one was on a log. Anyway good day on the water
