This really sucks. Thoughts and prayers to Scott and Brady. Same to their families. Two of the best anglers and people you can meet. 2021 has been hard on the Texas fishing family.

My partner and I came up on the accident maybe 10-15 minutes after it happened. There was no fog at log cabin where the tournament was out of but as stated there was a very thick bank of fog just down along the dam. We were fishing only about 100-150yd away from the accident and couldn’t even see what had happened until the sun got up and we saw the ambulance drive along the dam.
Talked to several other anglers at weigh in who were friends with Scott and Brady. Nobody really seems to know exactly what happened.
Very sad and tragic accident!

Someone posted a tiktok of the boat being pulled out. Search #cedarcreeklake. Hope everyone recovers. I was T-boned by a smaller boat before on a july 4th night. 10 years later and I still drive like an old lady.
