Has anyone walked and waded Pennington Creek?
It is on my radar and thinking it may be an ok place to explore during Christmas break. If anyone is interested in going and kayaking, post up. I am interested.
if it ain't chartreuse, it's got no use.

No, but that creek is very close to the Blue River which has good trout fishing this time of year.

Yes it is; I am thinking of camping and exploring the creek and then scouting the Blue for smallies. Yeah, I may swing a couple of soft hackles for trout, but that would not be my trip's objective.
if it ain't chartreuse, it's got no use.

Should find Smallies in Pennington. They were there 40 years ago. Probably a lot of silt now but I would bet it still connects to Texoma thru tishamingo wildlife refuge during floods
Some people go to church and think about fishing. Some go fishing and think about God.
