I can't decide between the two? Would be used specifically for vertical jigging from a kayak. Thanks in advance.

Either would work fine I think.

Actually, since you can sneak up on them better in a yak I think anything 6-7’ would work good too as long as you can stay on the brush pile.

You might want to look at the rear reel seat 10 ft rod from ACC Crappie Stix, GS10R. Balances well with the reel in the rear and gives about 6" more reach. If you haven't fished with 10 or 11 ft rods, takes a little getting used to. Tendency is too reel the fish up too close to the rod tip, then you can't swing the fish to you.

IMO, both are too long for a yak. I prefer an 7 or 8 ft for for the yak. It becomes a pain trying to get the fish when sitting that close to the water with a rod that long.

The BnM Sam's Super Sensitive 7 fter is my go to
