Bachman is due to be dredged starting this Winter. What exactly does that mean for the fishing? It's produced some really nice fish over the years including several double digit Bass.

Great news! Half the lake is under 3ft deep with a nasty soft muddy bottom. It's been neglected long enough.

That would be fun to see what comes out of that lake

Here in San Angelo lake Nasworthy was done . In 2002, the city completed a two-year dredging project to remove 3.8 million cubic yards of sediment from the lake, increasing the lake's capacity by about 2,500 acre-feet or some 800 million gallons.it affected the fishing for almost 20 years we had such a die off of big fish that they had to change the length limit to any under 15 in to be removed
