What hook and size are you guys running on the 3.25 Rage Swimmer? I’m having a hard time pairing this bait with the assortment of hooks that I have. They are either to small or just to big. Looking for just the hook and not a jig head. Thanks.

There is none. Your not going to find a hook made for swimbaits with a horizontal line tie. You can find jigheads with a horizontal line tie but thats it....as for as I know at least.

Why do you want a horizontal line tie?

Needing a horizontal line tie hook for adding to a swing head swim jig.

Put a split ring in between the hook and Jighead

I’ve tried that and it works but the wire harness that is on that jig head is pretty thick which requires a bigger split ring. It isn’t a problem when using the bigger Swimbaits but I like a smaller compact profile when I step down to the 3.25 or smaller Swimbaits.

I modified the harness to add a quick attachment. I can use a vertical line tie hook with this setup.
