PHOTO CAPTION: Lily DeJournett, who landed 35 fish with me this morning, had only caught 3 other fish in her lifetime. She got VERY excited as she hooked, reeled, and landed every one of these fish!!
PHOTO CAPTION: Travis and Sarah Ringo of San Saba took a little break from work and kids to spend some time together on Lake Belton. The pair landed 60 fish this morning.
PHOTO CAPTION: From left: Cousins Isabel Matthews and Bella Jaimes teamed up for a 75 fish afternoon on Lake Belton.
PHOTO CAPTION: Steve Niemeier and his grandson, Caleb Fowler, with a few of the quality white bass we took on MAL Heavy Lures (white blade, chartreuse tail).
PHOTO CAPTION: From left: Devon Linzy, and Chris, John, and Jude Levy. We enjoyed two solid hours of fishing followed by two hours of struggle as our winds failed in advance of an approaching cold front.
PHOTO CAPTION: From left: Andrew, Claire, and Anabelle Bierschenk with a portion of their 53 fish catch on a morning which started out at 43F, chilled by a northerly breeze as the sun rose through grey cloud cover the day after Thanksgiving 2021.
