I’m going out to try some drifting in my kayak on Lake Worth this weekend and could use some help. It will be my first time on this lake. I have looked it over on Navionics and it seems to be a pretty consistent 20’-25’ deep in a large portion of the lake. I plan to put in on the north side of the 820 bridge and have an area picked out to the west side of the bridge. Any tips are much appreciated!

Might take a look at the PCB warning for that body of water, if you're looking for eating fish.

Went Sunday, and the deeper portion is typically where I fish. But we actually found, marked, and caught some nice ones on the back side of Goat Island, they were in 9-11 foot of water chasing shad. Seem to still be feeding up shallow, with the surface water temp holding in the low sixties. When it gets into the mid fifties, they'll be stacked between the 820 bridge and the dam, in water over 18 foot, like cord wood, as will the shad.
