Caught my fish in 35-48 FOW with them biting 10-20 feet off bottom in timber. Trees with horizontal branches best in creek channels or sides of creek channels. Haven’t used minnows in over a year. Used a double jig on a single rod. 1/8oz. on bottom and 1/16th above that. Out by myself today, my son has friends over for his birthday. 2lbs. 5oz. behemoth. Had a nice 1lb. 11oz. as my 2nd best of the day.
