They don't make them in 13" sizes

I had a couple of Carlisle's fail on me.. one was my spare! The thing had never been on the ground.. betls separated rather violently. I don't know if its possible but you might want to upgrade to 14" rims. Goodyear all the way for me.

Actually the Carlisle Radial HD's are an excellent tire. On my last boat I put over 30k miles on them and only replaced them because of the manufacture date was over 5 years old. Second set had over 8k miles when I sold it.

I had belt separation on a Goodyear Endurance tire this past summer. I was lucky it stayed together coming home from Bridgeport. My mechanic recommended NTB / national tire Road Max ST, load range D (2020lbs) speed range M (81 mph ) for half the cost of Goodyear’s.

Had good results with that tire as well

I’ve have great luck with the Carlisle Radial HD tires. I have been using them for several years. The HD is different from their regular Radial. I’ve had issues in the past with the Regular tires. The HD is an 8 ply tire vs their 6 ply Regular. The HD also has a 65 psi max pressure. I will continue to get them unless I start having issues with those.

Have a Blessed Day,
Mike

As you can see, everyone has a "best" tire opinion. I have used them all. They are all underperforming to me. I have been using TOWMAX from NTB for about 8 years. In my opinion, they are just as good as all of the others.

Be safe,

The Goodyear’s are made in the USA. Carlisle are made in China.

Goodyears for me. Running on third year and about 8000 miles so far. Used to run Marathon and then Hercules tires. These are by far the best I have run.

For your 13” wheels you won’t go wrong with the Carlisle HD tires. I’ve ran them for several years and never had a failure. Buy the “D” rated tire. It cost more but the tire last longer. The Goodyear’s are good. But only 14, 15, & 16 are offered.

Trailer tires tend to be a issue for the miles put on them. The ones that came on my coastline trailer and the Goodyear Endurance that I replaced two with seem about the same. Got to keep a eye on them. Two that had to be replaced took something In the side wall.

One thing I carry is a 4 x 6 with one end cut slanted so no need to jack. Also a 1/2 Craftsman impact with big battery.

Take the lug nuts off once a year and grease the studs so saltwater doesn’t seize them.
