Usually fish for whites and hybrids on Richland Chambers but wouldn't mind trying for a crappie bite over the next several days, if anyone has any tips... especially in the vicinity of Pelican Island and/or the 287 bridge.
Thanks in advance.

If the south winds allow You might want to try the Timber in Radio Tower Cove due North of the Island , the coves NE of Pelican Island, & the cove where 309 dead ends . The 287 bridge is community popular but JIGS in the Timber will get you bit ! coolio

There is also good crappie fishing on the south side from pelican island. Straight across the lake from pelican isle in the coves with tree tops. Should be able to see them with the lake low but when full, be careful, they are below water then.
