How’s it fishing? Making a day trip Wednesday with my son to target smallmouth. Any advise would be much appreciated and thank you.

rock points . moving baits and topwater. I usually start with a shad colored pop r. then switch to a-rigs, jerkbaits, and 6xd . until I figure out what they want. they are feeding up for winter. last time I was out there I was targeting isolated boulders off the banks with drop shot (livescope). worked well for smallies. that was 2 months ago.
