The BPS Black Friday ad is already floating around the Internet, the only deals that might be of interest for you are: Garmin 93 for $700 (give or take), a Garmin 106 for $1k (good deal) or a carbon 12 for $1,200 (edit: its $1,499 sorry). The livescope will have a $200 rebate, but neither has a discount at time or purchase.

Carbon 12 with AI 3-1 transducer and Discover Cmaping $1500 Bass pro and Cabelas starting Monday Nov 22 they will also have Carbon 9s if any are left they are already for sale $799 all the stores know have plenty of stock on Active Targets.

If i were to go back and get livescope later, is the the Garmin 106 a good unit for the live scope? is that 106 for 1k have SV and DV ?
Have a 6 year old 73SV now and SV not so great but DV is. Looking to replace this unit. Recommendations?

The 106 comes with a gt54 transducer, which has side/down/2d sonar. It’s not as good as the current gt56, but the 56 is quite a bit more expensive. The price is really good, you have to decide if it’s worth it to you. They also have the 93 which also comes with the gt54, little bit cheaper, but the 106 is definitely an upgrade.

adding the gt56 later would still be (significantly) cheaper than buying the 106 with the gt56 bundle.

Well… went to 2 stores and tried on line and no Garmin 106…. That sale sucked.

Any ideas when there will be another good Garmin sale?
