If I can make this “all about me”…I made my way to front of the stage when she was performing at the Willie Nelson 4th of July Picnic…Arrowhead Stadium, 1978. To this day, I’ve not seen a more stunningly beautiful woman in person.
(BTW - I’m pretty sure she wanted me too! In no way did she do anything to act like she did…but I could just tell.)

This is an Emmylou story similar to Sawhorse, my daughter Camille was fortunate to open for Emmylou in 2014,she was doing a benefit for Stay Focused ( She was there for a concert benefiting Stay-Focused, a charity dedicated to providing unique quality-of-life experiences to persons with disabilities through scuba and other water-based activity)there were only 100 people in attendance,I got to meet Emmylou ,hobnob with some of the guest and have a 4 star dinner before the concert and have front row seats.during her performance.....quite an evening this was at Lee Park/Arlington Hall in Dallas .One of the songs Camille wrote and performed about changing colors in fall titled "They Were Red"
