The weather has cooled off once again on beautiful Lake Texoma. And the fishing is on fire! The last few weeks have been clasic fall fishing with limits coming quick and some bigs along the way. Most fish are located along the chanel ledges and feeding up on the flats at first and last light. Live bait is still my go to once the sun comes up good in the mornings. But have had some epic top water action in those shallow flats early and late. Big baits equal big fish up on the flats. Fall also brings back the jug line trips. These are a blast and a great way to fill the freezer with some tasty blue cats. Combo jugline/striper trips are becoming very popular with my clients. Texoma produces some amazing fishing this time of year. Dont for get that dead sticking season is right around the corner and I expect it to be a good year for that technique as well. Give me a call to get in on the action!
