Persistence paid off..... Had to put some work in.... I had Timothy and Logan out Saturday and let me tell you we had a blast although the morning bite was super tough..... The run off from Caney Creek has the river downstream muddy and it had the crappie very spooky. We were on top of fish and they would leave the piles or just not bite, after making several moves we found a awesome evening bite in cleaner waters.... We ended the day with 30 slabs several of which were definitely what I call tourney quality slabs..... Thanks for a great day of chatting and setting the hook guys....
