With the upcoming short warming trend I was thinking about making the trek down to Fork. Looking at Monday through Wednesday. What is the consensus of the masses? Would it be worth the two and a half hour drive or should I just stick around Ardmore, Ok. and fish the lakes around here?

It’ll be warmer; and definitely windy Tuesday/Wednesday.

The farther east you go, the less wind. If you do go to Fork, plan on areas with some protection from south wind.

Hop, tired of catching 10-13" smallies at Murray. Arbuckle has me cornfused, and the city lakes have been fishing tough. Maybe I'll hit Athens, Quitman, Hollbrook and some other smaller lakes.
