The 12ft Solaris Surf Rod & Tesoro12 Conventional Reel are my go to inshore power surf rig by Okuma. Several anglers have asked me to show how i cast a conventional reel from shore. For those interested it's really a timing issue generated by body motion induced by swinging your lead bank. This was shot next to a military pier.
