This was probably already posted (apologize if it has), but I just read about his passing away on Nov 5th. Anybody know what he died from?

That shows extreme toughness. I don’t think I could have done it. Or even WANTED to try and fish if I was that sick. That guy was in really good physical condition for sure.

…yes…it has been posted, but still sad news.

To make it 18 months and still fish many of those months with a Glio is a minor miracle. Guy was tough as nails. An absolute hammer. RIP AMart

BASS posted a tribute on YouTube. I had considered posting a link previously but this post now seems appropriate. It's 24 minutes of him at his finest and funniest. I watched every minute and it went by in the blink of an eye

Thanks for posting that KD. It was really enjoyable and very sad at the same time. He was a fun personality. I liked listening to him pep talk himself. He’s gonna be missed.

I have caught so many fish using Aarons magic (thats his color right?)!! I love those tiny picasso tungsten ball DS weights he used, and his gama nano finesse trebles were a game changer for me! A lot of his designs were really effective in my fishing. It really bummed me out seeing a video of him fishing after his chemo looking super aged and fatigued. RIP that guy deserved to fish until he was 100.

thanks for the video really puts things in perspective any body else got a tribute keep them coming can watch all day
what he did and the way he did it was so impressive cause he could have easily had the tumor for years even back in 2015 his last BASS AOY
he saw things differently that's for sure and had it work for him, much respect for the guy and his family now dealing with his passing

No one has a glioblastoma for years without knowing it symptoms show up fast and unfortunately like in this case they are fatal fast. He was just diagnosed in april 2020, the surgery he had that same month probably gained him 12+ months.
