Turn the Garmin to auto gain or 60%, get rid of the grid lines & it blows the others away.

Very informative video. I'm not on the live imaging bandwagon, mostly because it doesn't fit my fishing style, and also I haven't seen enough average joes with them that have gotten any better at fishing, but being a Bird owner, this very much solidified my decision on purchasing the 360 over the live.

That Humminbird looks like trash, I know it isn't, but it should be half the price of the Garmin.

Exactly, That video sucks, I never run my LS with that much interference...come'on man. You can take that noise right out.

That Humminbird looks like trash, I know it isn't, but it should be half the price of the Garmin. FTM was being VERY generous with some of his ratings. He's a good guy, and I know its not money related but he doesnt seem like the type that would ever [censored] all over a company even if it was in order like it was with some of those HB shots im really surprised HB would bring this to market...because it is nothing like their other offerings....like at all! Even mega 360 got stupid clear from the earlier gen stuff! I hope this Live is just like 360 was.....first versions were "good enough" and got refined with the newer gen stuff. But...for how long this one was delayed, and seeing that Lowrance isnt very far ahead of HB, im not holding my breath that newer gens will be much better or anything like I was thinking was possible! I really thought they were gonna be a crisper live scope.....but nope, far from it!

They are licensing the tech from garmin, do you think they would have access to all the top secrets? Lol After all the lawsuits between brands they must now license the tech to each other but surely yall don't think they will just give away the secrets.

Just shows you how much farther ahead Garmin is in the forward sonar game. Even with cross licensing they can’t make a comparable product to Garmin. Just think how far behind they will be when Gen2 livescope comes to market. I’m a HB fanboy but no one tops Garmin in forward facing sonar.

Exactly, That video sucks, I never run my LS with that much interference...come'on man. You can take that noise right out. I've had mine since the inception and I don't mind a little noise. Maybe not as much as he had. I think you can pick up more fish, especially at longer distances. And I always use the grid lines. Makes it a lot easier to make accurate casts IMHO. I would guess the Hbird will get better and the Lowball is pretty good. This coming from a huge Garmin fan. And yes, I believe Livescope is way better. Retired grass grower
