I started bjj last Feb/ march. I absolutely love it. Just competed in my first comp. last month and won in my division. It is hard, I get my arse kicked every day, growth is small, and most people quit. I love the challenge, my team, and the learning. It is definitely a good workout and will challenge your conditioning level when you roll. Go for it.

TBT has the most affordable membership I have ever seen. They ae running a deal right now 89 per month for unlimited bjj, weight classes, and kickboxing. You can do all of that,not pick or choose 1.
I go around 4 days a week. There are tues, wed, and thurs bjj classes, a friday morning class,and saturday open mat.
