Here’s another clip from the day as the baitball clip just showing the kind of structure this particular lake has. You can see my drop shot and fish swimming around the rocks cheers.

Another nice one. Just got my new toy so I have a question on this video. As the video progresses the angle of your view changes. Is this from you just moving your trolling motor or did you adjust the angle of the transducer?

My transducer is mounted on a pole that is mounted to the trolling motor. I manually rotate it with a handle separate from the troller if that makes sense.

As you move the boat, or turn the transducer, the bottom of the image will reflect the slope of the bottom as you move. If you turn the boat, or the transducer towards a shallower direction in the water, the bottom will “ramp up” exactly as the bottom of the lake does. If you turn the transducer, or the boat turns, to face deeper water, the image will slope downwards. No depth change, then the bottom of the image will be flat. My AT does this really well, so if I have to justify it usefulness, that is one positive. It helps to see bottom depth changes before you get to them. I just wish I could get images that clear on my AT. It is NOWHERE close to those images. Mine would be heavily pixelated. Fish look like sticks moving back in forth. Bait balls look like pixelated basketballs at best. A big grass clump looks like a bright stick. The fish and grass clumps blend together looking like a pixelated front yard that needs to be mowed.

If mine looked anything like the images above, I’d be excited. Mine just plain sucks. Biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent.

But it is one hell of a depth finder that shows bottom contours really well…in real time.
