Would you guys consider an extended warranty by the finance company on this motor? 45 hours.

Sounds like all the car warranty ads on TV. Just make sure your serving dealer accepts it. Call Mercury and see if they will extend it. That way it will be covered at a authorized service center. Just my opinion.
