Interesting watch and I would have to agree scheduling on top of one another is hurting both in their bid to beat the other!

Do we “really need” pro fishing tours? No more than we “need” bowling. It’s fun to watch but they’re businesses and if they lose money they will not stay in business. If it weren’t for billionaire backing at MLF (Kroenke) and multi-millionaire backing at BASS (Anderson family) they would both be gone.
I’m glad they are still around. The BFL’s are alive and well and the AAA leagues are too. Tour level leagues and their ability to turn a profit? Who knows…

Whichever one is the one choosing to schedule over the other, is the one that deserves to go broke. It’s a limited viewership small market, stupid to intentionally cut your numbers in half.

Agree, arrogance at it's highest.

Who's schedule came out first?

I’ll always watch BASS first when it comes to live. So I guess I’ll watch mlf two years later when it’s on TV.

keep in mind the difficulty in scheduling a big event like redcrest or bass classic because first of all you have a limited list of cities suitable for a bass tournament and these cities have other events that you have to schedule around....

Thats a bunch of horsesh#t, if they wanted to work together to prevent schedule conflicts they could, NPFL did it. In 2020 all kinds of sports did scheduling things they had exuses in the past that they couldn't do, nascar really comes to mind.

Ill watch that later....but 100% nailed it. Its annoying. And say what you want....but makes me wonder if this is more ego than anything for some at the tip top than what they claim this is all about. Im talking about MLF specifically. I mean I get they were trying to take over and be the new big boy in town...but going up directly against BASS when it comes to streams where the potential for new or continued viewership is nerfed by scheduling on top of BASS....is as much an ego challenge as you can get. Smart move wouldve been scheduling the week after and being the stream that tides the BASS guys over while waiting for the next event.....and eventually winning them over and potentially overtaking BASS since they have/had all the big names. Say what you want....Im seriously forgetting who the MLF guys are since I dont see them on TV or other advertising avenues Id expect to see them at.

im just a casual observer and not a hardcore tourney guy...and If this seems all ego to me, i wonder what the hardcore guys think about it
