Now dealing with my first crop of acorns from young live oak trees. Is there an easy way to pick them up? I've seen many times where they pile up and get ground into the ground over the years, and don't want that to happen in my yard.
All the rollers I've seen look to be suitable for the large acorns, but these are the small little suckers and there are thousands of them.

Check out the BagANut, they have a small option. Good backpack blower you could blow them into a pile and scoop them up. Neither are cheap options, but you don't have a lot of options.

Squirrels, lots of Squirrels! My harvest is about 3 gallons every 4/5 days of Red Oak acerns. Leak rake & shovel or blow into piles & shovel. No help on easy mass removal here.

There are the small "bag a nut" rollers but it is an arduous task to have to empty them. There are some "pull behind" riding lawn mower options called Lawn Sweepers that I have considered. They are pricey, but then too, you have to empty them. You can blow them with a strong powered leaf blower, but if you have a large area, it is time consuming. They have a "push" version of the lawn sweepers as well with a rotating brush that is supposed to pick them up as well. What a nuisance these acorns are. Squirrels just move them around, and will tear up your flower beds and shrubs re-planting them. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/11/full-1606-116648-ggdgdg.jpg)

I rake into a pile and then pick up. Seems to work the best for me. I just deem it as exercise but it still p's me off....

In the good old days, back before the libs invented the China flu to convert โMurica to socialism, you could hire folks to clean up acorns.

My neighbor across the street puts out a net over his yard. He grabs the corners and tips it to gather them.

Problem with your solution, It will crack and mulch them. There is a blade that will chop them up.

I knew a dude who would rake up acorns on the sfa campus and spread them out where he hunted. Said it worked great.
I'm a moron? Yep. Embrace it. Aye, aye chief. Carry on Moron.
