Any of you guys fishing with a Zodias spinning rod? Thinking about picking one up and pairing with a Vanford 2500 for a general-purpose combo. Reviews are good, just wondering if any of y'all have personal experience before I lay out $450 for the combo.

I can't speak to the spinning side, but I have 2 casting rods and love them. Worth every penny of what you pay for them. They are about right on with the actions. I have a GLoomis IMX and for the price, I'd take the Zodias.

Agree 100%, I own several IMX rods and for the price the Zodias is the hands down winner. As a matter of fact, I replaced my NRX pitching rod with a Zodias.

Vanford is a pretty nice spinning reel.
