Many mushrooms are edible, but proper identification is often difficult and there are many poisonous mushrooms that are similar to edible ones. If you want to eat wild mushrooms make sure you have a proper identification. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/edible-mushrooms

I know nothing about mushrooms, I just know they go good in my spaghetti and in my meatloaf.๐๐

Cool pic, but I don't know enough about Shrooms to risk eating it. Might it up going on a excursion I didn't plan on.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, โI mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, thatโs a storybook, man.โ

Not a chance when HEB is open, but you'll know if safe or not symptoms occur 6 to 24 hours after eating and include nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting and diarrhea. The toxin can fatally harm the liver and kidneys, and death can occur within 48 hours. Other mushrooms that have a similar effect to the death cap include some species of Galerina, Lepiota and Conocybe
other than that good luck,

I was in the "bush" with a knowledgeable local in NE Jamaica, and he was pointing out things to eat. I asked him how they knew what to eat and what was poisonous? He said they try to get a goat to eat it. If it's not good, the goat won't touch it. Goats aren't the smartest animals on earth, so I don't know if I'd be comfortable with that test until a few hours passed, so I could see if the goat was in good health. Like most of you, I'd pass on that 'shroom. IslandJim
