The wind made it tough on Lewisville Sunday but honestly the challenge for me was not when drifting but when heading back in to the dock. It was bumpy and a wet ride. Forecast today is for 30 mph steady with gusts to 50! I might run out to Lavon just to get a look at what 50 mph gusts do to her...

Stay safe out there buddy! Weโre off the water this weekend with Jaxonโs last soccer game and pizza party. Wife scheduled me to attend a Halloween party Saturday night so no fishing Sunday due to probable hangover. Gonna hit em hard next Saturday! Looks like cool nights from here on out and todays big cool wind should have a super cooling affect on the lake and finally get the water down into the 60s. 60s will turn em on and get em to start grouping back up good! Itโs finally go time!!

Yep. I was thinking that too. The radiational cooling with clear skies and wind at night should really start to bring it down. Wyatt the Riot and I will be out there Saturday. Gotta get back in time to hand out candy Saturday night. Weather should be good for that too. Looking forward to a good weekend!

I decided to drive out to Lavon and typing this from the ramp.
Itโs not too bad, but the gusts are blowing the white caps into spray and my truck is rockin!
Not a single boat out funnily enough - lol!
I tried to get some Shad but no joy (big waves dumping on the ramp).
Air temp is currently 72F at 6:30pm but forecast to drop down 20F to 51F tonight.

I went to Lake Park on Lewisville yesterday to have a look and the waves were crashing over the courtesy dock. Gulf of Lewisville was rockโn and the surf was up dudes! ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐
