Anyone know where the closest EF gas station is to Mansfield/south Arlington area might be? I know the bucee’s in Ennis has it, but anything closer?

You'd be surprised how much ethanol is actually in non-ethanol gas. Here at Fork there are at least 3 stations plus Walmart that sell it.

Many people in the know just use regular gas, which is at least 30 cents a gallon cheaper and then a product named B 12. It generally costs $3 for 15 ounces. You put one ounce per gallon in your tank and you will never have a problem.

This is great information! I may have to give this a shot, thanks!

4Weight, thanks for the link. Great information. Firm believer in E/F gas.

Walmart in Mineola neither sells nor claims to sell ethanol free fuel. I have tested the fuel from the place by the train station in Mineola and it is indeed ethanol free.

if you have a 2 stroke....100%. I just got an '04 50hp...but I literally cant idle to graph without the motor dying with regular gas. ethanol free not only idles just fine, but starts up quicker. If i had a 4 stroke Id use regular gas....but at least for my motor, the gas matters. I'd run Don's cocktail when I was running regular gas and had the results I describe. Ethanol free all the way....just sucks its so hard to find around me. but it makes such a difference I go out of my way to get it, and am willing to bite the bullet for marina fuel (its ethanol free) prices those times I forget to fill it up with ethanol free gas before the trip, versus filling it up at a gas station around the lake (mostly regular gas).

If your motor wont idle on e10 but will with ethanol free thats just masking a problem that will get worse with time.

This^^^^. I don’t know about “ethanol free gas can still have ethanol in it”. Seems like that would be illegal to label as such if it’s not true but I also don’t know who the ethanol police are.🤔🤷🏻‍♂️🤪. Further I can not tell any difference in how my 2 cycle Mercury 250XS runs with or without ethanol gas. All that said, if it’s convenient I buy ethanol free when possible because of the countless people who have had problems w/ethanol in their fuel(more for older outboards). Download this app on your phone(free) and it’s been amazingly accurate.

The Murphy’s in Weatherford has it. Also the Buccees in North Ft Worth. Weatherford is closest I have found.
