Yes sir....I'm almost completely swapped out to Lew's doing that! I don't think I've ever paid more than 100 for one..

I have a boat full of A’s. I don’t take good enough care of my stuff to have C’s.

For bottom contact lures = C
For moving lures = B/C

Have a blend of A, B, and C depending on application. Lately I've been hooked on the Dobyns Champion XP series at the $259 price point. Not overly expensive and they make lots of technique specific rods in the series.

All of the above.

A. Ugly Stick Lite for small top waters and jerkbaits
B. For spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, cranking sticks, moving baits
C. Flipping sticks

Although far majority of my rods are in category B.

A and B-I still have some rods from the 90’s that still get worked out

Ventured there.... bought 5. 2 broke on hook sets - 1 right above the handle and 1 right below the first eye up the rod. 2 more broke 3rd eye from the tip. Cant keep eyes on them either, everyone has had an eye fall off.

were they covered under warranty or did you own them a while before that happened? Crazy that youd buy 5 of them with such bad experience.

FIFY

Thanks but I have no interest in spending that much on a rod (NRX).

Dont sleep on Phenix stuff.

What rod is that? I love bang for my buck and wouldnt mind trying the rod out youre talking about. i believe dimishing returns is a real thing with higher end tackle. Im sure its better...but not sure how much better, and its very possible its only slightly better even though the price tag wouldnt make you think that.

Great to hear someone else is seeing good results! Not saying its the best rod/rod company....but they are amazing when it comes to bang for your buck. I love my cashion Icon worm rod....i dont feel its much better than my Phenix gear though...just my opinion

My top water and crank bait rods are still carrot sticks. But FTO elite tactical, bass x and fury for the most part.
