I felt the need to clear the air and get everybody on the same page. I have done dozens and dozens if not hundreds of bass mounts for people on TFF over the years. I’ve never had any issues with anybody. Over the last few years I’ve had a few setbacks including a serious health issue for the last year which threatens to damage my reputation. I just wanted to clear that up. Since everybody here experienced Covid there was a huge slow down with everything including supplies which are some still hard to get at this time, but I figured out a way to get around a lot of it. Then last year about this time I started experiencing some serious health issues went to many doctors, dermatologists and allergist and nobody could figure out the problem and I figured it out myself. I have a hyper sensitivity and toxicity to a material that I use every single day in my shop. That being said I had to buy a Tyvek suit with a air supply to alleviate the problems. All this has put me very far behind and a couple of people on this forum have chosen to impugn my character.
One in particular has sent me 52 texts over a weekend calling me every name in the book and profanity. I don’t really handle that very well as my character and integrity means everything to me. I am back to work now slowly getting caught up I take my artwork extremely seriously and I’ve never had any issues in 46 years. If you have a fish with me, it will be done and it will be done to my highest standards. I do not sacrifice my quality for anyone at any time, period!
I don’t have time to look at messages and emails and texts every single day and answer every question I just don’t have the time and get the work done also. but I do answer in return phone calls on a regular basis. These pictures were taken this spring and they show what it did to my body but it doesn’t show the internal issues that I created.
Thanks, Bryan Russell

Sorry to hear about your health issues. I’ve seen pics of your work and it is outstanding.

Hopefully you can get caught up and everyone will be happy.

Some people are just loosers and don't care about others. That sounds like the person you are dealing with. Low Life individual. Keep up the good work you do as well as you can.

I am patiently waiting for mine. I understand you don’t rush art…….

I passed on those guaranteeing results in 30-60 days because I wanted the best.

Hey Bryan, So sorry to hear about the health issues you're having and that it is related to what you love doing.

I saw some of those threads that flamed you and I don't think anybody that knows anything about you ever took any stock in any of it. The jerks running their mouths here on the forum lost some integrity and showed their lack of character though. Anyone with a brain knows what Covid has done to the availability of just about everything and that most all of the best Taxidermists (like you) take time to get the work out.

If I ever get another wall hanger I sincerely hope you are still at it. I'll wait.

Best wishes,
Mike Sellers

Listen , Bryan does an amazing job with his mounts thats why I chose him to do mine. I understand it has been a long time since I requested it but I fully understand that with all that is going on with COVID and now his health issues isnt good at all. I just cant wait to see what mine will look like once I get it. I am sure I will be super pleased with it and will use him again in the future. Bryan has responded to every email I have sent him and have gave me updates and assured me that my replica is in work along with many others. I would like to say thanks to Bryan for posting about his health and of course he didnt have to justify anything to us. Take care of yourself and keep doing what your doing and we will continue to wait patiently and pray for your health...
