Just purchased my first boat, always used my dads or gone with a buddy. In short my tackle and equipment has been mobile and easy to grab n go. Curious to what people really like as more permanent solutions. I have searched the easy view tackle system, T-H Marine, and seen some foam products for hooks and hard baits.

Primarily looking for ideas on your go to baits for quick access(under the lid)I have plenty of boxes and plastic tubs. What have you bought, do you like its functionality, and would u buy it again? TIA

My partner uses a plastic jar that is screwed down to the front of his deck. Kind of an eye sore but can’t beat it for handy. I’ve used the cooks system and one with holes for the hooks to go through. Both don’t hold the lures worth a dang in bumpy water.the foam system looks nice, I’ve not tried it yet, just buy an old foam camping pad and try it out for yourself. I’ve used Tupperware box under a deck lid for years, it was ok but my spike it scents would occasionally get activated during an shift of stuff in the compartments. Now I’m using a tackle box with the lid removed. It has sub compartments handy for the spike it bottles, pens, lures I’m switching from throughout the day, weights, flashlight, rag, used plastics. It’s pretty handy so far.

Thick EVA closed cell foam. I had some extra interlocking fatigue floor pieces from Lowe’s

Used Lexel (moisture curing urethane adhesive) to adhere to the underside of compartment lids and also a cooler.

18 inch square of foam with spaced 1/4 inch strips glued horizontally on top of the foam square is a good design for most lures

The netting on the cooler is used to store marker bouys, a digital scale, lure knocker/retriever, etc.

All my tackle stays organized in my shop. None are stored in the boat except for the trays in front of the consoles. I pull what is needed for each particular lake before going to that lake and organize them in the Wild River Backpack. It holds everything needed for a few days of fishing. It is also what I take to Mexico for 6 days of fishing. It attaches to the front pedistal and butt seat. I never have to get down and look through compartments to find what is needed. The pack holds it all.

You ain’t fishing if ya don’t carry EVERYTHING you own. roflmao

I have aluminum angle with 1/8” holes drilled every 1-1/2”. I hand all the single hooked, skirted baits on them. Spinners, chatters, buzz baits, etc.
….all hard baits are in deep 3700’s. Jigs/terminal are in multi compartment 3700’s, plastics are in 1gallon freezer ziplocks.

Way too much stuff, but in the rare chance I can’t catch all I need on the bag of senkos in the glove box, I can dig around and find a plan B. clap

hard, spinner, chatter and buzz baits go in plastic boxes, soft baits in their original bags are kept in trays by colors sometimes stacked on top of each other.
tools and scents in separate standup plastic "buckets"..02on/* the
