depends on what I'm buying it for... Long Butt Baitcasting Rods St. Croix Avid Series: flipp'n/worm/jig rod = C, St. Croix Premier Series: crank bait, topwater, multi-purpose = B Spinning Rod: G-Loomis GLX = C+ Pistol Grip: A, but can fall into the B range - yes some of us still use the pistol grip to angle with...LOL

I’m curious what you thought the majority answer would be? I’d like to see a poll on colors that guys will NOT buy. I won’t buy a white rod, due to feeling like a fairy (yellow neither).

Mostly C, a few in the B section and only an A if used and in good condition and it was originally a B.

LOL I saw a boat this weekend and all his rods were either lime green or purple with orange reels on them.

venture into Phenix rods....you wont turn back....at least for bottom contact bait rods

Ventured there.... bought 5. 2 broke on hook sets - 1 right above the handle and 1 right below the first eye up the rod. 2 more broke 3rd eye from the tip. Cant keep eyes on them either, everyone has had an eye fall off.

Most of my rods were B's when I bought them. If I had to replace them, inflation has driven them into the "C" range

Thanks but I have no interest in spending that much on a rod (NRX).

A. I do have one I paid 180.00 for but I’ll never do that again. Some really good rods out there for under 125.00. In my opinion
