It was very surprising when the winning anglers described what the caught their fish on. There were really only three different techniques, All of us are learning from the others and being successful doing it. Weather was OK with moderate winds but it did get hot by 3 pm. Did see one cove that was still turning over, but even with a full moon the bass began eating pretty good after 11 AM.. We fish three rotating sections on Lake Fork every other Thursday daytime about 22 times a year...

We fished section 1 today,

Boaters

1st Tim Gold of Mineola with 11 bass for 15.62 LB with a lunker of 3.31 LB. .
2nd Richard Morris of Houston with 10 bass for 15.25 LB. with a lunker of 5.02 LB.
3rd Randy Bunch of Lake Fork with 12 bass for 13.73 LB with a 2.42 LB lunker.
4th Jack White of Farmers Branch with 4 bass for 11.07 LB with the boater lunker of 7.68 LB
5th Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 4 for 7.82 LB with a 3.78 LB lunker.


Co Anglers

1st Bruce Allen of Emory with 6 bass for 14.76 LB with is the co-angler lunker of 5.71 LB.
2nd Ken Kielbas of Arlington with 9 bass for 9.64 LB with a 1.77 LB lunker.
3rd Gary Gilmore of Ennis with 4 fish for 7.61 LB with a 4.40 LB lunker
4th Alf Tuggle of Cypress Springs with 5 bass for 6.64 LB with a 2.49 LB lunker.
5th Bob Lambert of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 4.55 LB with a 1.72 LB lunker.


100 bass were caught, a 25% improvement over October 4th. and 1 angler were skunked.
