Rayburn was on fire this week. Caught a bunch of keeper size bass on the outer edge of the grass on the 1/2 oz. wigglin goober toot. Moved out on the secondary points mid morning for some bigger fish and caught them on the 3/4 oz. whispy tail pud tickler. Later in the evening moved back in to the grass and puched with the the nobby tail flip- n- twitch in june bug. Just before dark moved way out and hammered the big ones using the 12 inch flopping groot snappler.
I am going back next weekend will let you know what they are biting on.

"3/4 oz. whispy tail pud tickler? 12 inch flopping groot snappler?" Can you buy those off the shelf or are they special order?

Be safe,

I tore the up last Sunday on a bubble gum deep diving Zara spook. But you had to fish it slow or they would just follow it to the boat! I would follow it up with a Rayburn craw topwater spoon if the bite slowed. 👀

The east Texas Glitter Twitter Critter is getting hammered in shallow water. Had 2 rods ripped.out of my hands. Letting it set for 3 to 5 minutes between twitches is working for me. Purple nurple is the hot color.

Letting it set for 3-5 minutes between twitches is impossible for me.

you need to sink more brush-piles and bait them with range cubes.... Its such a great plan that all major circuits are considering outlawing the tactic. Just like the flying lure. Make sure to let one person see you though, it may help fuel the fire if you leave your string floating. Once the other semi-pros know you are employing the tactic (because you will be unbeatable) they wont fish the tourney and you'll win by default.

Dont forget to put your neon floating sign telling everyone it's your brushpile!
